Dessert cake with apple and whipped cream

The yolks mix well with a pinch of salt and sugar. Gradually add the oil and mix well. Add the milk and gradually the flour mixed with the baking powder. Homogenize the composition well with a spatula.

Put the composition in a tray lined with baking paper.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C and insert the tray for 20 minutes.

Separately heat the grated apples with cinnamon and let it cool. The cream is mixed with a little sugar and left to cool.

After 20 minutes, remove the tray and place the hardened apples on top and put it in the oven for 10-15 minutes.

When ready, let the cake cool and garnish with whipped cream.

Amandine with whipped cream is a delicious cake. For this cake recipe, mix the egg whites with the sugar, add the yolks, water, oil, and at the end, the flour mixed with the baking powder and cocoa. The obtained dough is poured into the tray lined with baking paper and baked in the already hot oven for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool and cut in half horizontally.

Mix the butter with the sugar, then with the yolks, added one at a time and mixing after each one. Add cocoa and rum essence. Continue mixing until the sugar is dissolved and the cream becomes frothy.

Put water and sugar on the fire, add the cappuccino powder and rum essence. Bring to the boil, then allow to cool.

The chocolate, butter and whipped cream are put on the fire and left until they all melt and the composition is homogenized. Allow to cool.

The top is syruped and filled with butter cream. Pour over the icing and decorate with melted chocolate, whipped cream and optional fruit.

Almond with whipped cream is left to cool until the cream and glaze harden, then cut into square pieces, smaller or larger according to preference.

The kitchen of our house

For today I needed to prepare a tasty dessert for children, which, in addition, would be fasting. I immediately thought. apple was perfect, I have already experienced a few fasting cakes in which apple worked wonders on taste and texture. Unfortunately, I needed margarine, an ingredient that I lacked, so I limited myself to only a few basic ingredients, hoping that the presence of various spices would fill the gap.
The dessert was unexpectedly appreciated, not only by children, but also by adults. Even if the appearance is not very attractive, on this occasion I discovered a dessert very suitable for children, even for babies under 1 year (maybe with a smaller addition of sugar than the one I tried).

300g flour
200g brown sugar
50g nuts
15g starch
4 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
330ml hot water
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
500g large grated apple (5 apples suitable)
250g small grated carrot (3 large carrots)

In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, nuts, starch, baking soda and spices).

Pour hot water on top, previously mixed with vanilla essence.
Add the apples, carrot and mix, kneading lightly by hand.

A thick composition is obtained, which will be placed spoon by spoon in the form greased with oil.

Bake for 30-40 minutes, over medium heat, in the preheated oven. It is ready when a pojghita is formed on top, and the cake begins to detach easily from the walls of the form.

Leave to cool in the form for at least 10 minutes, then cover with a plate and return quickly, so that the cake falls on it.

Serve with whipped cream to take some of the strong aromas of spices and vary the range of textures.
