  • 6 eggs

RECIPE PREPARATION Golden Roll:

The oven must be heated to a temperature of 180 degrees.

Meanwhile, beat the eggs well with salt and add the flour little by little, the warm melted butter and the milk until a homogeneous composition is obtained.


Cover the tray with baking paper and grease it abundantly with butter or lard.

Pour the obtained composition and put it in the oven to bake for 20 minutes.

The composition rises slightly to the surface and should take on a brown color on top.


Bake in the oven, mix the grated cheese well with the cottage cheese and a little salt.

Pour the egg omelette on a damp linen towel and slowly peel off the baking paper, spread the filling and wrap it with the towel very carefully because the roll is very tender. Let it cool well.

You can get this roll in 30 minutes.

The Hungarian roll called “beigli” is a cake with thin dough and rich poppy seed filling, which is usually prepared on holidays. The "poppy roll" is so tasty, delicate and with a crunchy crust that it melts in your mouth. 1. Prepare the filling: grind the poppy. Bring the milk to a boil, sprinkle the poppy seeds, mix and boil for 5 minutes, then cover the pan with a lid and let it sit for 1 hour. Strain the poppy seeds through a sieve, add the sugar and mix with the blender until smooth.

2. Knead the dough. Sprinkle the flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix well. Cut the butter into pieces and add it to the bowl. Add the yolk and pour the milk. Knead a thick dough. Divide the dough into 2 parts, put them in bags and put them in the fridge.

3. Place the cold dough on the table and spread it out. Cut uneven edges.

4. Place the poppy seed filling in an even layer, leaving the edges free. Roll the dough into a roll and prick it lightly with a fork in several places.

5. Line the tray with baking paper and place the rolls. Beat a yolk in a bowl and grease the rolls, then refrigerate for 45 minutes.

6. Beat the remaining egg whites in another bowl and grease the cold rolls. Leave them in the fridge overnight.

7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the rolls for 30 minutes. During this time the rolls will turn brown and will acquire a very beautiful golden color.

Golden lentil soup


Ingredient:

30 g butter, 1 large onion, finely chopped, 450 g diced parsnips, 340 g
diced carrots, 150 ml dry sherry wine, 85 g red lentils, 1.2 liters
vegetable soup, preferably homemade, salt and pepper, fresh chives leaves
for garnish for serving: 2 teaspoons grated horseradish, 6 tablespoons sour cream.


Preparation:

Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add onion, mix well and
cover pan. Simmer the onion over low heat for 10 minutes or until soft. it
add parsnips, carrots and Sherry wine. They are boiled. When they boil
cover the pan again and let it boil very slowly over low heat for 40
minutes. Add the lentils, broth, and salt and pepper to taste. They put
boiling. When they boil, make a small fire and cover. It is still boiling on the fire
small for 15-20 minutes or until the lentils are tender. The soup is pureed
in a food processor or a mashing device is used
saucepan. Put the soup back in the pan if necessary, and reheat
slowly until it starts to boil. If it seems too thick, add a little broth or
the water. Mix the horseradish in the sour cream. Cut the chives leaves and leave
a few whole. Put the soup in the heated bowls and put it in each one
on top a tablespoon of horseradish cream. Sprinkle with chives and put
a few whole strands of chives on each bowl. Serve immediately with
crispy toast or oatmeal cookies.

of horseradish and sprinkle chopped parsley on top.

How do we fill the fluffy roll with jam?

We grease the top with jam and start running starting from the part where we made the notches.

When we roll, we use the baking paper in which we will leave the roll and put it in the fridge for about an hour.

We slice the roll with a knife with a thin and well-sharpened blade.

You can replace the plum jam with another jam that you prefer or even with a chocolate cream.

If you want the rolls to be smaller, roll the worktop lengthwise and if you want them to be larger, roll the worktop wide.

I wanted the slices to be bigger so I rolled the countertop wide.

Ingredients for the filling

Beat the eggs with the sugar and salt powder for 10 minutes, until they become a light yellow dough. Incorporate the flour gradually, mixed beforehand with the baking powder.
Spread the dough in a tray lined with baking paper, as even as possible (about 1-1.5 cm thick) and put the tray in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes. Remove the worktop when it turns dark gold.
Put it on a baking sheet sprinkled with powdered sugar, with the baking paper facing up. Peel off the paper on which it was baked and quickly spread the Nutella cream or another chocolate cream, on the whole surface, in a thin layer.
Increase the roll at one end (a 1 cm thick strip), then start rolling by folding that strip towards the center. Use the baking sheet underneath so you can roll it easily.
Once rolled, wrap the rolled chocolate tightly in the baking sheet and refrigerate for an hour.

Useful advice

✽ Try to finish rolling the countertop before it cools down. Once cooled, it will begin to break.
✽ If you prefer the jam roll, you can easily replace the chocolate cream. But choose a slightly sour jam, such as cherries, because the combination of sweet + sweet can be too strong.

You need:
125 g flour

Bring the milk to a boil with the flour and mix until it thickens. Then take the pan off the heat, set aside for 2-3 minutes, then add to the composition, in turn, 4 eggs and salt, stirring constantly.
Place the composition in a greased and lined tray. Bake the top over high heat for 15 minutes, then over low heat until golden. Then leave it in the covered tray, cool it. When it is cold, grease the top with cream and fish, put a layer of grated Telemea cheese (so that the sheet is well covered). You're running. On top, grease the roll with cream and grate cheese.

Keto roll with cocoa

If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen this brilliant roll, which is done without flour of any kind and of course) sugar free. I have prepared it countless times already and each time it was a mega success. With small changes, different tastes can be obtained. For example, they can be added to the cream berries, ground nuts or cocoa, and the surface of the roll can be covered with chocolate glaze. I urge you to try it too, it is really simple to prepare and it looks exceptional. It looks like you've been working on it for half a day, and I'm not talking about taste, it's amazing!
I used it for sweetening Green Sugar Premium, with double sweetening power. Thus, a very small amount was needed in the recipe. In addition, now all sorts of Green Sugar come in nice aluminum boxes, very comfortable, easy to store and recycle.

For a roll that can be cut into 10-12 slices

  • for countertop:
  • 6 eggs
  • 40 g Green Sugar Premium (or double quantity Classic Green Sugar)
  • 40 g of quality cocoa
  • for cream:
  • 200 g mascarpone or cream cheese
  • 50 ml cream for whipping cream
  • 20 g Green Sugar Premium (or double quantity Classic Green Sugar)
  • vanilla

The eggs separate. Whisk the egg whites (if you have cream of tartar, use it) with half of the sweetener. Beat the yolks and froth with the rest of the sweetener for 2-3 minutes, until a frothy composition is obtained.

Incorporate the cocoa powder into the yolk foam with a whisk until smooth. Then put the beaten egg whites, a little at a time, stirring from the bottom up, so as not to leave the composition.

The obtained dough is spread evenly in a tray on baking paper, greased with a little butter. My tray had the dimensions of 28 * 38 cm. Place the tray in the preheated oven at 180 degrees C for about 12 minutes. Remove the tray and leave to cool for a few minutes.

Then cover the top with cling film. Place a larger shredder over the tray and turn the tray over. The baking paper that was under the countertop is now on top. It will carefully come off the counter. If the paper has been greased with butter, you will have no problems.

Roll the top with the foil and leave to cool.

Meanwhile, prepare the cream by mixing the components.

Carefully unroll the cooled roll, grease the surface with cream and roll more tightly. The obtained roll is wrapped in foil and left to cool until the next day or at least for 3-4 hours.

It is sliced ​​and enjoyed, best on festive occasions.
